How to Use a Pourer: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 6: If you notice that the cork fins have flattened, help restore them by running the pourer under hot water for about 30 seconds, followed by a quick rinse with cold water. To remove the pourer from the bottle, gently twist and pull it straight up.

For optimal performance, it is advisable to wash the pourer weekly, especially when used with spirits. If you’re using it with cordials, syrups, or juices, aim to wash it each night.
